How much do toronto movers charge for a 2 bedroom to brampton

I'm moving from a 2-bedroom in Brampton to a downtown Toronto apartment and got quotes ranging from $600 to $1,000. Has anyone else experienced such big price differences? Also, any tips on finding affordable short-term storage between leases would be super helpful!
