Why do quotes from moving companies toronto differ by 400 dollars

I’m moving from Brampton to downtown Toronto and got quotes ranging from $800 to $1200! I can’t figure out why they’re so different for a 2-bedroom rental. Is this normal, or am I missing something? What should I ask the movers about their pricing?
