Toronto moving companies prices for 1 bedroom unexpectedly high

I’m moving from a 1-bedroom in Roncesvalles to a smaller unit in Leslieville next month. I got quotes from different movers, and the prices vary by over $500! Has anyone else experienced this? What should I expect for a standard move like mine? I just want to budget properly.
