Checking out 262 ridley blvd - any hidden gems nearby?

I'm eyeing 262 Ridley Blvd for a two-bedroom with a friend. The area looks nice and I’ve heard good things about local shops and parks. How’s the transit around there? I rely on the TTC, so solid access is a must for me! Any fav local spots to check out?
