Considering 2067 Islington Ave for a daily downtown commute

I'm eyeing 2067 Islington Ave for its transit options. How's the access to the subway for getting downtown? I've heard mixed things about bus frequency in that area. Plus, are there good bike lanes for my commute? Any insights would be awesome!
