Checking out 1761 Sheppard Ave E for easy access to downtown transit

I’m considering a spot at 1761 Sheppard Ave E and need to know how easy it is to get downtown for school. What’s the bus and subway like around there? Are bike lanes nearby? Hoping to avoid long walks to transit, especially at night.
