Can i rely on transit living at 1650 Bathurst St for school and work?

Just spotted 1650 Bathurst St on the map and I'm curious about how easy it is to get downtown for classes and work. How's the TTC frequency around here? Also, are there bike lanes nearby for those days I want to cycle instead? Any insight into walking distances would help too!
