Looking for pet-friendly rentals downtown - which buildings actually allow dogs?

Moving to Toronto next month with my medium-sized golden retriever. Every listing says "no pets" but I keep hearing some buildings are flexible if you pay extra fees. Does anyone know which downtown buildings actually welcome dogs? Budget is around $2500-3000 for a 1BR. Willing to pay pet deposits/fees but need to know where to even look. Any property management companies that are more pet-friendly?
