Renting in Toronto is a nightmare – why are we even trying?

Another rent increase, seriously? How is anyone supposed to afford this? Just got outbid again on yet another place. I viewed 15 places in one week, and they were all gone within hours. This market is impossible! A landlord wanting $2800 for a bachelor? Get real! I'm so done with this.
