Living at 1524 Lawrence Ave W for easy access to TTC and downtown?

Considering moving to 1524 Lawrence Ave W. How's the walking distance to the subway and bus stops? I need reliable TTC access for my downtown classes and would love to know about bike lanes in the area. Is it easy to get around without a car?
