How much do toronto movers really charge for a one bedroom apartment

I'm planning to move from a cozy 1960s walk-up in Scarborough and I've gotten quotes from three different moving companies. They vary by about $400, and I'm worried about hidden fees. Any advice on what to watch for or how to negotiate these rates? I need to move in two weeks!
