How much does it actually cost to hire movers in toronto for a 2 bedroom

I'm moving from a semi-detached in Leslieville to a new place in the Danforth and the quotes I’m getting for a 2 bedroom are all over the place—one company even gave me a $1,200 range! Is it normal for prices to vary this much? Also, any tips for how to negotiate or find a decent crew?
