How much do movers charge for a small one-bedroom in toronto

I'm moving from a Forest Hill one-bedroom to a smaller unit in downtown and got quotes ranging from $600 to $900. How do I decide if these rates are reasonable? Should I be tipping the movers on top of that? It's a tight timeline and I'm really stressed about fitting everything in!
