Searching for a 1BR House to Rent in Toronto

Hi everyone! I’m new to Toronto and excited but a bit anxious about finding a 1 bedroom house to rent. I prefer a small house over an apartment and would love some tips on where to look for standalone one bedrooms. Also, what should I know about deposits and leases? Thanks!
