How much do movers cost toronto for a small basement apartment?

Just got my quote for moving out of my annoying basement apartment in the Annex, and I'm shocked! They’re estimating over $800 for a one-bedroom. Anyone else had the same issue with movers dragging out the process? I swear my last move took forever and the hourly rate doubled!
