Thoughts on renting a condo vs apartment in Leslieville?

Hey everyone, I'm planning to move to Toronto soon and have been considering either a condo or an apartment in Leslieville. I've seen condos listed for around $2,500, which seems a bit pricey. What are the pros and cons of each in this neighborhood? Any advice or recommendations? Thanks!
