Help me decide: Rent a 2BR in Oakville or a 1BR in downtown Toronto?

I’m torn between renting a 2BR for $2,200 in Oakville or a 1BR for $2,000 in downtown Toronto. The Oakville place is spacious and calm, great for my remote work, but the downtown unit is closer to my friends and nightlife. I need the space but love the city vibes. What should I do?
