How much do movers cost toronto for a last minute move from downtown?

I just found out my lease is overlapping by two weeks, and I need to move from my Riverdale rental to the suburbs ASAP. I’ve got a couple of quotes, but they’re all over the place—like $600 to $1,200! Does anyone have experience with last minute movers in Toronto? Did you get hit with surprise fees?
