How much do movers charge toronto for a small basement apartment

I'm moving from a basement apartment in North York to a condo in downtown Toronto and I'm shocked at how inconsistent quotes are. Some movers are saying $800 while others quote $1,200 for a two-bedroom space! Is there a standard hourly rate I should expect for this type of move?
