How much do movers cost in toronto for a king west condo move

So, I just got a few quotes for moving out of my King West condo and I'm stressed. The cheapest quote was $600, but then they added $300 for packing materials? And I’m wondering if I should just rent a truck and do it myself to save money. Anyone else dealt with this headache?
