This rental market is a nightmare - we're being priced out!

Another rent increase, seriously? Just got outbid AGAIN on a place I thought was finally it! How is anyone supposed to afford $2800 for a two-bedroom that’s barely in decent shape? I'm so sick of bidding wars and viewed 15 places, all gone within hours. This market is impossible!
