Why do moving companies quotes in toronto vary by 400 dollars

I'm moving from a one-bedroom in Junction Triangle and got quotes from three movers this week. They range from $800 to $1,200 for the same day. How is there such a big difference? Is there a reason companies charge so differently here in Toronto?
