Plenty of shops and transit near 5600 Sheppard Ave E?

I'm curious about 5600 Sheppard Ave E since I love being within walking distance of amenities. How's the local shopping scene? Also, is the TTC access good here for getting into downtown? I heard there are some good restaurants around too.
