How much will toronto movers actually charge for a 2 bedroom parkdale

I just got a quote from a moving company for my 2-bedroom in Parkdale, and it was $1,200. They mentioned extra fees for parking permits, which I didn't expect. Can anyone share their experiences? Are there affordable movers who can get it done without all the hidden charges?
