Commuting from 85 Gamble Ave to downtown easily with TTC options?

I'm looking at 85 Gamble Ave for a new place and I'm curious about how practical it is for getting downtown. What’s the commute like on the TTC during rush hour? Are there good bike lanes nearby for days I want to cycle instead?
