Help me decide: $1800 studio downtown vs $1500 one-bedroom in suburb

I'm torn between signing for a $1800 studio downtown or a $1500 one-bedroom in the suburbs. The downtown spot has no commute and is vibrant but pricey, while the suburban place is cheaper but adds 30+ minutes to my commute. I need help weighing lifestyle and budget here!
