How much do movers cost toronto for moving to downtown from etobicoke

I'm moving from a 2-bedroom in Etobicoke to a downtown condo next month, and I’m stressed about costs. One moving company quoted me $1,200, but that got me wondering if I should just rent a truck and do it myself to save money. Anyone have experience with this? What do good movers usually charge?
