Worried about Renoviction and Forced Out by Landlord!

I can't believe I'm in this situation. My landlord is planning renovations, and I'm terrified it's a renoviction tactic to force me out. I need affordable housing close to campus and fear I'm being pushed out. What are my rights against these illegal eviction methods? How can I fight this?!
