Rant about the insane apartment hunting process in Toronto

Just need to vent real quick. I've been searching for weeks and the competition is unreal! Every viewing feels like a bidding war, and I keep getting ghosted after applying. I'm exhausted and this whole process is wearing me thin. Why is it so hard to find a place?
