Price check: $2500 for 1BR near Spadina station - good deal?

I found a 1BR apartment for $2500 near Spadina station in downtown Toronto. It's newly renovated with in-unit laundry, but I'm wondering if this is a competitive price given the current rental market. Is this a good deal or am I missing something?
