Is 190 John St near any parks or green spaces for weekend hangouts?

I'm eyeing 190 John St and can’t help but wonder about the green spaces around. I love having parks nearby for picnics and running. Also, how's the transit here for heading downtown? Just trying to get a feel for the area’s accessibility and outdoor options.
