Need advice on breaking lease after unexpected job loss

I've just lost my job unexpectedly and I'm unable to afford my rent for the next few months. My lease has 10 months remaining. I've spoken to my landlord, but they're not willing to let me out of the lease. Has anyone been through this? What are my options?
