90 Shuter St and my daily TTC ride to St. Michael's Hospital

Thinking about renting at 90 Shuter St! I work at St. Michael's Hospital and wonder how easy it is to hop on the subway or streetcar for my daily commute. Is it a smooth walk to the closest station with good service? Any tips for cycling around this area would be great too.
