How much do movers charge for a tiny studio in toronto region

I just got quotes from three moving companies for my tiny studio near U of T, and they vary by $400! Is this normal? Is there a better time of year to make the move to find cheaper deals? Any advice on what to expect for costs and when to book would be super helpful!
