Help me decide - $2200 for a one-bedroom in The Junction vs $1800 in Scarborough

I'm torn between a $2200 one-bedroom in The Junction and a $1800 place in Scarborough. The Junction is trendy and close to amenities, but Scarborough is cheaper with more space. I work downtown, so the commute from Scarborough would be longer. I need some perspective on this! What should I do?
