Is 1840 victoria park ave a good spot for heading downtown via ttc

I'm considering moving to 1840 Victoria Park Ave and want to know how easy it is to get downtown. I rely on the TTC for my daily commute to work. Are there frequent buses or streetcars nearby? Also, what's the walk to the nearest subway station like?
