Struggling to Afford First and Last Month's Rent Deposit!

I'm in a tough spot trying to secure a place in Toronto with an upfront deposit of $4000-5000. I can’t afford such a steep cost right now! Are there any payment plans, deposit assistance programs, or tips for saving that could help me out? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
