2737 Kipling Ave - does this area have solid transit options and shops?

Looking at 2737 Kipling Ave and curious about local shops and transit. I need to be close to a TTC stop for work, and walkable access to groceries would be great. Impressed by the size of the building, but what's the overall feel of the neighborhood like in that area?
