Why do moving companies toronto quotes differ by $400 for a 2 bedroom?

I just got quotes from three different movers for my 2-bedroom in Parkdale, and the prices range from $800 to $1,200! Is it normal for costs to vary this much? What factors should I consider when comparing these moving companies?
