Living at 1053 Don Mills Rd and daily trips to downtown by transit

I'm considering moving to 1053 Don Mills Rd and need to know how the transit options are for getting downtown. What’s the TTC like for commuting to Union Station? Also, are there decent bike lanes around for weekend rides? Any insight would really help!
