328 The West Mall has some cool local spots nearby I just discovered

I was looking into 328 The West Mall and noticed it's close to a bunch of parks and grocery stores. How's the transit around there? Is it easy to hop on the TTC from that spot? Walkability seems decent, but just wondering how it feels to get around day-to-day.
