Is 580 The East Mall good for getting to downtown via transit?

I’m considering 580 The East Mall and need to know how quick it is to get to downtown for work using the TTC. Are there streetcar or bus stops nearby? Also, what’s the bike lane situation like around there for weekend rides? Thanks for any insights!
