Is 350 The East Mall good for getting to downtown by transit?

I’m looking at places around 350 The East Mall and wondering how easy it is to hop on the TTC to get downtown. What’s the subway or streetcar situation like in the area? Also curious about cycling options and if I’d feel safe biking to the station. Any insights help!
