How to balance notice period and booking movers in toronto

I’m moving from a two-bedroom in Forest Hill to a smaller unit downtown and really stressed about timing. My lease ends on the 30th, but I’m not sure when to give notice and if I should book movers now. Any tips on costs or schedules for moving companies in Toronto? I’m looking to budget under $800.
