Is there a cool coffee shop near 998 Danforth Rd or just chains?

Looking at 998 Danforth Rd and curious about local spots like coffee shops or parks. I love walking and want to know if the area has some unique cafes or just the typical chains. Also, how's the TTC access? Any tips on getting around from there?
