3 months in North York - a mixed bag but loving the transit access

Quick update since people asked! Moved to North York from downtown and while I expected a quieter vibe, the neighborhood is busier than I thought. TTC subway access is fantastic, but the local eateries aren't as exciting. Overall, I'd recommend it for the access, just be ready for some trade-offs!
