148 Islington Ave seems intriguing, but what’s the transit access like?

I'm checking out 148 Islington Ave and love that it's close to Islington subway station. Just wondering about walkability in the area and what kind of local amenities are around. Anyone know if there are good cafes or parks nearby? Need my daily caffeine fix!
