Should i look at 31 Gilder Dr for campus transit and walkable amenities?

I'm checking out 31 Gilder Dr because it's close to campus transit—huge for me since I rely on TTC. I've heard the area has decent local shops and cafes. I'm curious about how walkable it is and if there are parks nearby for downtime. Also, what's the crowd like around there?
