Thinking about short-term rentals at 2181 Avenue Rd and nearby spots

I'm looking at 2181 Avenue Rd for a 3-6 month stay. The area seems nice, but I'm curious about the transit options. How walkable is it to restaurants and shops? Also, anyone know what the neighborhood feels like, especially around weekends?
