Sick of Toronto's Crazy Rental Market! Where's the Relief?

Another rent increase, seriously?! I can’t believe landlords are asking for $2800 for a dingy bachelor pad. Just got outbid AGAIN! Looking at leases that are literally gone within hours. How is anyone supposed to afford this? It's driving me nuts! Can we catch a break here?!
